Main Show

The main show last year was the ever popular The Gondoliers which ran from Tues 23rd October through to Sat 27th at Poole’s Lighthouse and was a very successful show.  Our Director, Craig Cowdroy, was new to our Society and brought some innovative ideas that gave the show a particular sparkle.  Our Musical Director was Jean Holt who has now been our MD for 16 years and who has won several awards including Best Musical Director at the International G&S Festival.

The production has been highly praised and was thoroughly enjoyed by friends and critics alike and we received a number of excellent write-ups in the local press.  Click here to see the review by Linda Kirkman for her magazine SceneOne.

Our show for 2008 will be The Sorcerer which will be on at Lighthouse, Poole from 28th October to 1st November, under a new professional Director - Alan Spencer, who is a very experienced G&S director.
