 Main Show

Our Director was again
Claire Camble-Hutchins

who has now created 4 brilliant shows for us - Pirates of Penzance in 2014, Ruddigore in 2015, The Mikado last year and now The Gondoliers.

The music was under the control of our new Musical Director, Helen Brind who has done a wonderful job with the music and who kept our excellent orchestra and the show in such good tune.

The Gondoliers is full of lovely music and action on the streets of Venice and the island Kingdom of Barataria.

If you came along we do hope you enjoyed the show - thank you for supporting us.  If you would like to send us any comments you have, we are always delighted to receive them - please click the button below.

Some of the many comments and emails that we have received:

“I had a most wonderful evening at the Lighthouse Theatre last night, Saturday. Your production of The Gondoliers was lively, very colourful and exciting. I tried to limit my movements or involvement and felt I had succeeded not to have spoiled things for those sitting behind me! It was quite difficult!”

“What a show! My 13 year old granddaughter loved every minute too.”

“Absolutely bril...I...iant!  A great production - you should all be very proud of yourselves. Thoroughly enjoyable.”

“I had the pleasure of seeing the production in Poole last night and thought it was terrific. Congratulations to all the cast. Good luck for the rest of the week.”

“We have seen about 6 of your presentations and they have all been superb.”

“All I can say is "Wow!" The best yet! Two hours of toe-tapping, head nodding and humming (very quietly) made our evening.”

“As a long-time supporter of your fantastic company, your Gondoliers was fantastic!”

“Brilliant! We hugely enjoyed the show.  Well done as always.”

"We thoroughly enjoyed the show last night - the best one we have seen."

“That was fabulous! I have always enjoyed G&S but I think last night's show was the best I have ever had the pleasure of watching.  Well done.”

“To be honest, I didn't think I would take to G&S, but I have to ask, which one is next and when?”
