International G&S Festival

Buxton in Derbyshire hosts the International G&S Festival every year at the beginning of August and we have managed to get there with one of our productions 5 times in the past 12 years. In 1997 we took Yeomen of the Guard which we had just done at Corfe Castle, in 2000 we staged HMS Pinafore and Trial by Jury which we had put on the previous October, in 2003 we put on Iolanthe which was our 2002 production in Poole, in 2006 we put on our hugely successful Pirates of Penzance which was the show from 2005 and last year saw us there again with a very well acclaimed production of the 2008 show of The Sorcerer, where we were runners up.
