International G&S Festival

 

We took this production to the International G&S Festival which is held every year in Buxton in Derbyshire.  It takes place over 3 weeks in August and we reprised the show for the 2009 festival which had 14 amateur companies taking part in the adjudicated section.  We came second overall and received 2 individual awards too - that of best animated chorus and best male performer, won by John Gerken playing John Wellington Wells.
